A/N: Inspired by eeyore9990’s piece And They Danced by the Light of the Moon, which set off my Rab, and he wouldn’t shut up until I wrote this. Based off my version of Rab, though a bit more realism than I usually allow him.

So, I watched Camelot as played at Lincoln Center on Thursday, and it's buzzing around in my head now. Honestly? I wasn't overly impressed by most of the cast, and I was personally offended by the fact that my favorite character was played by someone I can't stand, but that's just me. There was one specific stand-out--Mordred.
I should say here, that I never saw the play version, just the movie. And so I don't know how much was part of the original Broadway version, and which was changes for a modern audience or to fit the stage. But it does mean I'd never heard The Seven Deadly Virtues, because it's not in the movie. Rab has decided that it's part of his soundtrack. It's strange how many of his songs are bouncy and upbeat if...creepy.
But back to Mordred...the costume they had for him was just great fun, and the actor who did him was definitely a joy to watch. I've only managed to find a few pictures of him in the play, both with Fran Drescher. Picture one and Picture two. I seriously wish I could find more, because while the outfit was outlandish, I do think it would be the coolest thing ever to use them for a PB. Not that I have any clue who the PB would be used for... :P

So...this is something I've been meaning to re-do for ages now. But especially since the move to IJ in August.
My number one priority in fandom is, has and always will be, fic. Writing it, and still occasionally recing it. I post the 13th of every month to ![[info]](http://www.insanejournal.com/img/community.gif) daily_deviant, and participate in random fests here and there. And, on great occasion, I write something just because it desperately has to get written.
Modding -
I am an editor at potter_prophet, which I contribute to each Sunday.
I mod the asylum blaise_zabini, which accepts all fic, art, icons meta or other entries having to do with the dark-skinned Slytherin.
I also mod hp_nano, which is a gathering place for those in the HP fandom participating in the yearly NaNoWriMo Challenge in November.
RP -
I co-mod the game founders_legacy, where I play Draco and Blaise.
I also RP in a slightly different form at rp_bad_boyz as Rabastan and Blaise.
And there's also still an older Draco in my head who snuggles with K's Harry.
Then there is true_revenge, which foodie and I have been slowly posting all our stories that started with a simple little idea I had about how Lucius might have proposed to Narcissa.
And shadowhunt, which is the beginning of a pseudo-rp surrounding an idea foodie had where Hestia Jones starts up a bounty-hunting agency after the war.
Then there's something that's not strictly fannish, but which I haven't mentioned in my journal until now--writing_linkz. It's nowhere near complete, and probably never will be. It's invite-only to join, but anyone is free to watch. Mostly, it's a place where I stash links that I think will be helpful in my writing.

Daily Deviant fic done. Haven't even thought about next month's, but I'm totally focusing on HD Cup fic for now. Don't even have 1000 words yet, but I will beat the two of them (okay, Draco) into submission if its the last thing I do. :P
Saw Across the Universe. Hubby bought it before we'd seen it, which isn't something we do often, but we'd both wanted to see it. I'm a huge Beatles fan, and so I was very excited to see what they'd done. It's amazing. If you like them, or the period, find a copy and watch. There are flaws, yes, and it's definitely not for everyone, but it is very well-done.
Rab has been very loud of late. I'd say unnacountably, but I know exactly why. His brother and his son. He's just about to pop, and he's drowning out even Draco a lot of the time. It's...creepy. He is not a nice person. At all. And if anyone needs proof I can do dark... Just let me know. I'll post about his little outing in my head last night. :P *shudders*

But I have an excuse! I just got back from vacation! :D
Name five songs (or whole playlists, if you want to get ambitious) that you associate with particular fictional characters.
So...I was listening to my player at work while I made this list, and some are better than others, and some charries have more than others, obviously...
Rabastan:
1. I Can't Decide by Scissor Sisters "I can't decide/whether you should live or die/Oh, you'll probably go to heaven/Please don't hang your head and cry/No wonder why/My heart feels dead inside/Its cold and hard and petrified..."

Because I want to make a certain someone melt allllll over the place. :D She knows who she is. (and because he's still a loud SOB, even when I threaten him with death.)
1. Choose a Harry Potter character. (It doesn't have to be your favorite character)
2. Try to think of how many different versions, personalities of this character, going by how they look like. (For example, a rock star, a sports star...)
3. Supply photos and explanations for said people.
I'm going with thepinkrabbit's version of this one... She just did Draco at different ages.
I think some people will know where I'm going with this...if the tags and icon don't give it away. ;)

Author's notes: Blame wolfish_cat for this one. As soon as I showed her the list of prompts I had to choose from, she and Ro gifted me with this bunny. I’ve never managed to write these two in a fic before, just RP, so this is…experimental. Hopefully in a good way. I think. Or as good as it can be with these two… Title taken from this wedding vows website. A bit sappy, but… eh. It works. Huge thank yous to both wolfish_cat and ceria for all the help with this. It’s a far better fic than I likely would have come up with without their help.
