Title: The Punishment of the Golden Prince

Summary: Blaise disobeyed his Master. Now he must be punished.
Author's notes: Shockingly, another Blaise-piece. Quite different from the last one. Set in the same universe as The Tale of the Golden Prince (as can be inferred from the title). I have a few more ideas for stories in this universe, all one-shots. We’ll see if they ever get written. Can be assumed to be EWE, but the first story was written before DH came out. Huge thanks to both ceria and kabal42 for their help with this story.
*warning of a different sort* This fic depicts a M/s relationship, but it is not one I in any way consider a healthy relationship. Not only was Blaise too young to understand what it was he was getting himself into when Lucius first seduced him, but there is almost no give and take in this relationship. I would even go so far as to say it’s abusive. He did consent, yes, and he expects to play, and enjoys playing, so it is not the BDSM so much as Lucius’s actions that make it abusive. I just wanted that clear.

I haven't been interested in these in ages, but I quite like this one:
What are your five favorite canonical friendships?
Harry Potter
- Sirius, Remus and James. I'd add Peter, but JK totally screwed him over to make sure that no one would ever like him.
- Severus and Lily. Aaaaaw... :D
- Harry and Neville, though more movie-canon than book-canon. I love that Neville actually gets to help him and talk to him in the movies.
- Severus and Lucius, even though it's never explicitly stated.
- Albus and Gellert. A fascinating idea. I can't wait to see what the fans do with it. :D
Star Trek - Geordi and Data. Not just symbiotic because Geordi was an engineer, but also honestly good friends. I always loved their jaunts on the holodeck.
- Ben and Dax. I have a huge soft spot for Dax, and I always loved this. How it grew from a male/male friendship to a male/female friendship with only one hint of romance the entire time Jadzia was host.
- Tom and Harry. These two were so fun together... Little kids on a big ship. :D
- Kathryn and Tuvok. Everyone needs a Vulcan friend. To tell them when they're being an idiot
- Kirk and Spock. Oh, all right, yes. It's one of the things I hope this new version gets right. They were each others' support, and I want them to show it, damn it!
Others - Sam and Al, Quantum Leap. They were really so great together...
- Knight and Schanke, Forever Knight. Ditto. I can't express the number of times Schanke's stupid antics and Nick's reaction made me grin. And yet, they were still always there for each other.
- Buffy and Willow, Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Only the best of friends can get away with calling each other such horrid things and smile about it while they're doing it. "Quitter." "Whiner." "Bailer." "Harpy." "Witch." "Bad seed..."
- Cutter and Skywise, Elfquest. God, I can't believe this wasn't at the top of my list. These two are so perfect together. Cutter the brawn and Skywise the brain. They compliment each other so well...
- Brian and Michael, Queer as Folk. I know some prefer the romance between them, but if it had ever happened? It would have destroyed everything between them. They were never meant to be anything more than friends. Though they were excellent at that. They understood each other almost better than anyone else. And put up with each other more than most of the others in their lives did.

So, I have all the books except for HBP in MP3 format, so I like to listen to them while I'm at work. Not a big deal, right? The problem being that it tends to cause my AU muse to act up.
I have a story, Finding Harry, which I worked on for something like a year and a half, so it's got a special place in my heart. The story goes: ( cut for Finding Harry spoilers )
I had great fun with the fic, fixing some of the problems I have with canon, and making many of the characters stronger emotionally than they are in the books. I really want to do a rewrite of the story before I move on to the next one, but when I listen to the books, I can't help but think of threads for the second.
I do have one major problem, though. ( more FH spoilers )
I've even written an intro-paragraph for FH2: ( even more spoilers for FH )
So, I'd love people's opionions--on the fic, on the above problem, on things you always hated about the Harry Potter books.

Anyway, I was listening to POA today, and I always adore the Shrieking Shack scene for its detail about the Marauders' lives.
And it made me wonder--what would their children have been like if they'd all "survived" the war? I don't think they would have been able to permanently kill off Voldemort, but I can see them hiding from him long enough to take him down for a time, and survive to get married and have kids. Harry with two living parents and a brother and sister...And Peter falling for Alice Longbottom after Frank dies in a raid. Remus ends up with Narcissa after Lucius dies fighting against them. (Don't look at me that way, Lysa...) And Sirius "makes do" for a time with Hestia Jones. So there's all these Marauder kids, and Harry, Draco and Neville have been raised as friends--the Next Marauders.
Is it totally a bad idea?

RPG is fun. And addictive. (I actually considered making FH2 one, but there lies madness) Just wish I had access at work, cause we're all so far apart that by the time I get home, several of the main players are asleep, or should be, which means we get at most two or three responses a day.
titti is redoing The Thin Line, and will be including all Snape/M Black pairings on the site. It will be lovely to have easily accessible Severus/Regulus fics.

Been reading a ton of Manga lately (Thank you, Anne... ;D). So many Manga, so little time. :D Some favorites? Eriee Queery, Nana, Paradise Kiss, Alice 19th, Ceres... I'm sure that's not all, but I'm very much enjoying what I'm finding, generally. :)

Prequel to What’s Done Is Done (Pre-HBP canon)
Pairing: Lucius/Regulus
Summary: Regulus Black spends the summer with the Malfoys.
Rating: NC-17
Disclaimer: Still not mine. *sigh*
A/N: I am supposing here that Lucius is five years older than Sirius, and Sirius is just over one year older than Regulus, which makes Regulus 15, and Lucius 21 in this first scene, just for people’s information. And yes, this does mean Chan. It’s a Lucius fic. Does that really surprise you? ;P Lucius’s father in this is named Magnus because that was what I named him in the other story. I have no excuse other than that, but as I want this to be the prequel to that, I feel the need to explain that to those who haven’t read WDID. Not a huge deal, but there it is.
Dedication: To Inell. Here’s your Christmas fic, hon. Sorry it took me so long. The boys just weren’t cooperating. I hope you like. And don’t feel you need to read the other fic. It’s got Harry/Draco in it, and I know they’re not a favored pairing of yours… This one stands perfectly well on its own.
