Really quite stressed and also rather depressed at the moment, and need a distraction.  So I'm nicking this from inell:

I apologize profusely, but given this is the first time I've failed to post, hopefully most of you will forgive me.

I have nothing to post today, and at this point, I don't think I will be able.  I also will have a job for the next few weeks, so I will have little time to post or write. 

I will try to post at least one VC fic a week, for those of you who do follow, so do not fear that I will have nothing for you.  Just not today. 

The fiftieth fic is coming up soon, and with it another timeline-order list for those of you interested.

I'm still on schedule, though I had hoped I would be ahead right now.  Nothing to post today as far as NaNo goes, but I hope you'll enjoy the first part of the fic I just posted below... ;)

Spent the day with turtle_avenger, and things went extremely well.  Right up to the moment after I got home and started looking for my phone to turn it off.  It's gone.  No idea if I'll ever get it back, and to be honest, it's really bothering me.  Money's tight, which means no replacement until I get a good-paying job, and that means I won't be able to talk to anyone until I've been at the job for at least a month... :(  Not a happy camper.

Anyway, big plans for tomorrow--At least 2000 words on NaNo, a new Velvet Captivity drabble, and finishing chapter 2 of Five Times Out.  I can do it.  Really.  It's not that much.

So, just finished the day's recs.  Still have to post the next Lucius/Harry for fanfic100, and do some writing for NaNoMo.

Took a Manga Mag that oni_anne gave me to work with me today.  I may need to get a subscription...  I've found three Manga in it I need to start reading.

Question to anyone who reads Manga: What's your favorite(s), and why?

Fandom wank - not on this journal, thanks.  I love chatting with my friends, reading their fics, and hoping I'll get reviews, but I'm really not interested in hearing how badly someone else is being mistreated by others in the fandom.  I thought we were here for fun, but if you want to wank, there are places for it.  Just keep it away from me.  Thanx.

In writing news...

About halfway through the third section of Unclaimed Bonds now.  Still have about two, possibly three scenes to write left, then I move on to the (*shudder*) Snarry section.  I know it's going to be the hardest to write.  But I CAN do this.

fanfic100 Lucius/Harry pieces:
I currently have seven pieces finished.  Am considering posting twice a week (yes, snapelike, I know you want me to post every day...).  Since I posted Wednesday, I'm trying to decide which would be the best day aside from that to post.  What do people think?  Sunday or Monday?  I still haven't heard if my tag is up at fanfic100, so I haven't posted the first one there yet.  I'm hoping I'll get a few more reviews if I do...

NaNoMo...

All set, really.  Just waiting for November.  I don't even think there's anything else I *can* do till then.

Been having a lot of fun at the NaNoMo site, tho.

Oh, and if you're doing NaNoMo, I'd love to read what you're working on.  Let me know if you're doing a separate journal so I can friend it?

In Sims news, I've lost both Sirius and Severus now.  Working on aging up James and Lily a bit more.  Lily and Narcissa had two sons together, but Lily's been wanting another kid, so I had her adopt a new little boy.  He's very sweet.  Tanned skin, and he has red hair. :)  Her second son should be on his way to college soon, so it'll just be the two of them in the house.  I hope I can get him grown up enough before she dies...  I suppose one of his brothers could always adopt him...

Also, there's this challenge I've seen bandied about - The Bachelor challenge, based on the TV show.  I refuse to watch reality tv, but I love this idea for sims.  Particularly since I can't have Nightlife yet.  So, I've made a new neighborhood, and I will be working my way through the HP characters until I have a bunch of households with my favorite characters.  Should be fun.

So, I have officially been approved for my 100 Lucius/Harry fics.  Be afraid.  Be very afraid.

I'm going to try to be a good girl and just post once a week, so that I can actually focus on other writing which needs to be done.  I have four fics done as of now, and will try to get at least five more done before October ends, so that should carry me through NaNoMo.

I'm going for a non-linear approach here.  The fics will all be part of a larger story, but they'll be out of time sequence.  Cross your fingers for me.  I think I can do this. :D

ETA: Anyone up to betaing the fanfic100 fics for me? They're pretty short.

So, now I've signed up for fanfic100.  For Lucius/Harry.  I actually had a story idea, but it ddidn't occur to me that I could use it that way, but it'd definately translate well.

Also, anyone who's signed up to watch/try fanfic100 for an HP character/pairing/subject, sign up for hp_fanfic100, which is set up so that those doing HP subjects can post their fics so you don't need to clog your flist with non-HP subjects if you don't want to see them. :D

So, anyone want to make me a Lucius/Harry flashy icon?  No pressure, but I don't have the ability to do one myself.

I have a feeling I've the rest of my year is rather spoken for.

So, hubby asked me if I'd heard of fanfic100, and I thought he meant one of the drabble communities, so I said, yeah, I wasn't interested.  But now that I know what it is, I can't help but be intrigued.  The question is, can I write 100 fics about Draco?  As it is, I have 13, one of which I don't think I'll be able to fit into their graph.  So that's 88 fics...

It's definately a different idea.

What do people think?  Should I try it?  Course, if I do this, I don't think I can do NaNoMo too...

ETA: Someone else has got him at the moment, anyway, so it'd be a while before I'd be allowed.  Maybe I'll write first, then put my name on the list after NaNoMo...

Or I could start writing Blaise...  I only have about 3 Blaise fics, tho.
