So...I meant to post this last night, but I never got around to it. Was too distracted.

Nano starts next Saturday, and I still have three stories I need/want to get to before that. It's not going to happen. So my priority this weekend was my Snapely Holiday (which is now finished--yay!) and November's D_D, which is something I've wanted to write for a while now.

So, I really haven't been ignoring people, I swear. I'm just incredibly nuts out of my head busy. And unfortunately, the next month is going to feel much the same. I'm going to shoot for at least 1000 words each weekday, and 3000 to 5000 on weekends. Don't know if I'll manage, but I have to try.

Now off to take a quick break before I start on my D_D.

Why in the world do they choose November for this? Why not some do-nothing month like April or March? Why smack-dab in the middle of the holiday season? That is the worst idea ever, I have to say.

I'm already not looking forward to it, of course, maybe getting a new job in the middle of all of it sure doesn't help either. I won't be able to write the amount they're looking for, I'm not even going to fool myself into thinking I can. I will try to at least think about my story on a daily basis if nothing else.

Sometimes I really hate being a writer. It's like a curse. Sometimes I'm super confident in it and sometimes I have no confidence at all. Today I'm in a no-confidence frame of mind...

*snuggles* Can't wait for NaNo! :D Very excited. I just hope I can get my stuff done. Not going to bother with cutting it into chapters - that's what I've decided - just going to write until I finish.

Yay for just one unfinished thing left! I forgot about the pornish_pixies thing. Oh well. Just too focused on my novel.
